This is my current photo. I’m only down 8 pounds, so I don’t think it looks that different from the “before.” Plus DH wouldn’t get up from watching TV to take a decent picture so the angle is a bit weird.
Eating and living locally . . . mindfully . . . simply.

I can’t believe the #31Days challenge is almost up! I am grateful to Collective Bias for sponsoring it, and have enjoyed using Lean Cuisines and Skinny Cows to help avoid drive thrus.

So, Lean Cuisine and Collective Bias are determined to make me post embarrassing photos. If they weren’t paying me I’m not sure I’d do this. I am supposed to show photos of myself working out.
I wish I could give you a grand update on my weight loss; unfortunately, I’m only down half a pound. HALF A POUND. It’s frustrating. Part of me feels like I should have lost more; I did so well on my calories. I didn’t work out as I’d hoped, but I thought I’d have lost more than half a pound.

So how is the challenge going? Quite well. It’s amazing how having a few backup meals and snacks on hand (in the form of Lean Cuisines and Skinny Cows) helps avoid takeout.

Like just about everybody else, I hope to lose some weight in the New Year. Yesterday I found out that I’ve been selected as a Lean Cuisine/Skinny Cow blogger! I’m so excited that I’ve decided to bare my soul for the whole world to see.
