For awhile my husband had a Sam’s Club membership through work. We hardly ever used it. Then I took a class with Chef Amy at our farm, and was introduced to a number of great items that you can buy at Costco. I have no idea if it saves us any money, but it sure is convenient. Here’s another super easy (and fast) “recipe” that I made up this past weekend. I have discovered that I much prefer to use the spicy salad green mix in cooked form rather than try to eat a salad that makes my eyes water. A quick saute’ makes the heat much more bearable.

I now know why gardening can be so addictive. There is so much to learn! I think it’s going to be a life long process for me. I apologize for the advanced gardeners out there–these tips probably seem so . . . “duh.” Without further ado, this is what I learned this week:
