I was pretty geeked when Collective Bias wanted me to let my readers know about the Diamond Snack Bowl 2011 Contest. Diamond has some fairly healthy snacks.

So, how did last week go? Once again I was overambitious. But I am learning what is realistic so I’m getting closer!

I realized today that the deadline for the Dark Days Challenge is upon me and I never ended up posting my second Dark Days Meal. I posted the Peanut Soup with Cabbage and Chicken the other day, but never posted about my favorite local food meal – scrambled eggs and toast.
I wish I could give you a grand update on my weight loss; unfortunately, I’m only down half a pound. HALF A POUND. It’s frustrating. Part of me feels like I should have lost more; I did so well on my calories. I didn’t work out as I’d hoped, but I thought I’d have lost more than half a pound.

As a blogger who’s not a “mommy blogger,” I’ve often felt left out. I have nothing to add to breastfeeding and diaper discussions. I wonder if I’m welcome to participate in conferences like “Type-A Mom” or “Mom Media Summit.” Not to mention Mom Spark Media, AT&T Moms, etc. Yet it’s not only online that I feel outcast as a childfree woman. When I read Complete without Kids, I thought “finally, someone understands!”
