Oy! Who knew??? I love your story! I have an old high school friend, who, after her divorce, also was looking to the on-line dating options. She was as disenchanted as you were. Then…she met HIM. She tells everyone she bought him off e-bay!

Hi, just found you via SITS and was scrolling down when I saw this post. I love me a good “how we met” story. My brother met his fiance through Match.com too. We all adore our sister-in-law to be, they really are perfect for each other. It’s so cute to see how happy they are, they never stop smiling when they are together.
BTW, I would have kept the guy who liked Gilmore Girls around. It’s always a good plan to have that friend who will go shopping, to the theater, antiquing, etc….when the husband wants to watch football. LOL! The Doc sounds like a creeper though.
BTW #2: You husband is cute, he reminds me of the actor Adam Arkin, but with facial hair.
