
Next to asparagus, rhubarb is my favorite springtime vegetable. Growing up I’d eat it straight from my Grandma’s garden. She made THE BEST rhubarb sauce. Would this recipe from Simply in Season compare?

I LOVE cinnamon and mint with meat, so I was excited to make this main dish from Simply in Season. Luckily I was not disappointed.

When I saw another recipe for taco filling in Simply in Season, I wondered why. I mean, how many taco recipes does one need? But this lightened-up version is just the ticket to sneaking vegetables into your family’s dinner.

I sort of cheated on this recipe. I had some leftover apple carrot salad so I substituted that for the carrots. No worries, this is a very basic cookie recipe from Simply in Season that lent itself to adaptation.

This is one of the recipes I made for the potluck at the Franklin Farm. DH was quite disappointed that he wasn’t going, but he did get some leftovers.

Another one of the recipes from Simply in Season that I looked at and said “huh?” But I’m glad I tried it, as this simple salad is refreshingly good.
